About Jordan Roman
Jordan Roman is a community-centered leader, strategist, and advocate running for Wisconsin State Assembly, District 12, to bring bold, people-powered leadership to Madison. Jordan has spent his career working at the intersection of public service, economic development, education, and housing, with a focus on improving quality of life and expanding opportunity for working families. His work has centered on strengthening organizations, building community partnerships, and advancing solutions that move people from instability to ownership and long-term prosperity.
At the core of Jordan’s leadership is a belief in shared prosperity, equity, and people power. He believes democracy works best when communities are informed, engaged, and represented by leaders willing to challenge the status quo and govern with courage.
Currently serving as a Chief Operating Officer and as the founder of a community-focused consulting firm, Jordan has led initiatives in operations management, leadership development, affordable housing, workforce strategy, and civic engagement. He has worked across the nonprofit, private, and public sectors, helping organizations deliver real results while staying rooted in community needs.
This campaign is not about politics as usual—it’s about new beginnings, bold ideas, and building a future where every family in District 12 has the opportunity to thrive.
Jordan is running for office because he believes poverty is solvable, housing is a human need and a pathway to wealth, education must prepare students for today’s economy, and healthcare should be affordable and accessible to all. He is committed to expanding BadgerCare, fully funding public education with innovative approaches, increasing access to affordable housing, supporting working families, and building an ownership economy that closes racial and economic gaps.
